We're back home again after a wonderful week visiting family. I've been playing catch-up with the groceries and the laundry, and I'm having fun getting back into the daily routines I've made for myself over the last few months since having a house to take care of. As fun as the last week with family was, it's really nice to be back in our little house. We missed our toys and our chewed-on books, our sunny dining room, our highchair in the corner, cooking meals in our tiny kitchen, and our beds.
Oh man, we really missed our beds.
Ah, what lovely photos! I always miss my bed, too, but my little guy misses his the most. He's a tumbler in his sleep and never does well in those pack-n-plays. I'm glad you're home and happy!
ReplyDeleteThank you! :) Ralph is the same, he is EVERYWHERE when he sleeps. Thankfully my parents set up their old crib so he had that to sleep in instead of a pack n play. It worked great!
DeleteHi, i just found your blog and I love love it, I just read way too many of your posts haha! your pictures are incredible and I had my baby just 4 months ago so it has been fun to read and relate! Can I ask where you got that amazing black and white striped blanket?? Thanks so much!

Oh thanks so much, Cassie! The blanket is from Ikea! It's soft and I LOVE it.
DeleteJust stumbled on your blog (I googled 'cry it out for naps' - nap issues over here!) and I LOVE it. You have such lovely style and beautiful photographs! I will be following :)
ReplyDeleteI have a 6 year son, Logan, and a 10 month old bebe - Beckett (he's the one currently crying in his crib).
We just got back from a week away with family and I can relate to how good home/our own bed feels!
P.S. I have my own blog as well, it's mainly food but a bit of fashion/home as well :) It's called A Life From Scratch.
